We also collect technical information related to your case, including wallet addresses, transaction identifiers, blockchain network data, and any supporting documentation you voluntarily provide.

We collect standard web analytics data including IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and session data to maintain the security and integrity of our platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used exclusively to process your recovery case, communicate with you regarding case updates, and verify your identity in accordance with our compliance obligations.

Case-related blockchain data is processed by our forensic engine to trace asset movement and generate recovery pathways. This data may be shared with partner institutions and law enforcement agencies where legally required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Security

Blockintel Tracer employs industry-standard encryption protocols (AES-256, TLS 1.3) to protect data in transit and at rest. All client portals are protected by secure session management and multi-layer authentication.

Access to case data is strictly limited to authorized forensic analysts assigned to your case. All data access is logged and audited in accordance with our ISO 27001 certification requirements.

Despite our rigorous security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to our platform.

4. Data Retention

We retain case data for a minimum of 7 years following case closure to comply with financial crime reporting obligations and to support potential legal proceedings.

Account information is retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a period of 3 years following account closure.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations. Requests can be submitted to our Data Protection Officer.

5. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

6. Cookies

Our platform uses essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session and ensure the security of the client portal. These cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without affecting platform functionality.

We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies that monitor your behavior across third-party websites.
